The Ukrainian parliament has passed in the first reading a bill that will make the Diia.city more accessible to startups, including small tech companies, by providing access to the best tax rates in Europe and tools for scaling and attracting investment.
Thanks to the draft law No. 9319, which the parliament has already adopted in the first reading, Diia.City will become more accessible to startups. This was stated by the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov on his Telegram channel, UNN reports .

Even the smallest tech companies will be able to become Diia.City residents. They will have access to the best tax rates in Europe and all the tools to scale and attract investment
He also emphasized the important provision of the draft law on the "Russian footprint in companies."
Once the bill is passed, companies with Russian residents in their ownership structure will no longer be able to become Diia.City residents. Regardless of where they currently live
