Government extends project on free dental prosthetics for military

The Cabinet of ministers has extended the pilot project on free dental prosthetics for the military until the end of 2024. The program provides for dental treatment in the amount of up to 25 thousand hryvnias, which was really used by more than 11 thousand people.
The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has extended the work of a pilot project on free dental prosthetics for veterans, defenders and defenders of Ukraine.
This was announced by the government's representative in Parliament Taras Melnychuk in Telegram, reports UNN.
Melnychuk said that amendments were made to the resolution of the Cabinet of ministers of Ukraine No. 212 of 27.02.2024 "some issues of implementing a pilot project on dental prosthetics of certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
In the resolution and the procedure for using the funds provided for in the state budget for the implementation in 2024 of a pilot project on dental prosthetics of certain categories of persons who defended the independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine, the words "dental prosthetics of certain categories of persons" are replaced by the words "dental prosthetics and provision of planned dental care to certain categories of persons
According to him, it is established that the contracts concluded by the pilot project participants with the National Health Service before the above-mentioned amendments come into force continue to be valid until December 31, 2024.
Prime minister Denys Shmyhol said during a government meeting that under the program for free dental prosthetics, each veteran can treat teeth worth up to 25 thousand hryvnias free of charge.
