The Ukrainian government has allocated an additional UAH 5 billion for the purchase of drones to strengthen the country's defense capabilities against Russian aggression.

The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has allocated an additional UAH 5 billion for the purchase of equipment  to strengthen the state's defense capabilities. The funds will be used to purchase drones. This was announced by Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal, reports UNN.    

An additional UAH 5 billion was allocated today for the security and defense forces. The funds will be used to purchase drones necessary for our defenders on the front line. We continue to support the Ukrainian army in the fight against the Russian aggressor

- Shmyhal wrote on social media. 

According to him, every hryvnia that comes to the state budget in the form of taxes will be used to strengthen our defense capabilities.
