The DGF has begun to satisfy the claims of the ninth line of creditors of Concorde Bank

The start of satisfaction of creditors' claims of the ninth stage of the register of accepted creditors' claims of Concord Bank has been agreed. UNN reports this with reference to the message of the Deposit Guarantee Fund.

"By the decision of the Executive Directorate of the Deposit Guarantee Fund No. 1577 dated December 11, 2023, the start of satisfaction of creditors' claims of the ninth stage of the register of accepted creditors' claims of JOINT STOCK COMPANY JOINT STOCK COMPANY COMMERCIAL BANK CONCORD (hereinafter referred to as JSC "JSCB "CONCORD") was agreed.

In accordance with the said decision, partial satisfaction of the claims of 72 creditors of the ninth stage of the register of accepted claims of creditors of JSCB CONCORD in the amount of UAH 57,025,905.06, which is 24.98% of the total amount of the ninth stage," the Fund reported.

The DGF reminded that the claims are satisfied in proportion to the amount of claims belonging to each creditor of the same queue. Payments are made in non-cash form by transferring funds to the accounts of creditors of JSC Concorde Bank. Claims of each subsequent priority are satisfied after the claims of the previous priority are fully satisfied.

Co-owner of Concord Bank Olena Sosedka notedthat at the time of the regulator's announcement of the decision to liquidate the bank, the financial institution had enough highly liquid assets to make all the necessary payments in 2-3 weeks. However, the process of bank liquidation is strictly regulated by law. The Board of the National Bank of Ukraine has decided to revoke the banking license and liquidate the Joint Stock Company "JSCB Concord" as of August 1, 2023. Payments started on August 21. The total amount of guaranteed compensation to be paid to the bank's depositors reached UAH 647 million. At the end of November, the DGF announced that it had begun to satisfy the payments of the 8th stage.
