On the Darnytskyi Bridge, a Tesla collided with a Suzuki and a Lanos, killing a 63-year-old woman. The driver has been detained; traffic towards Naddniprianske Highway is currently congested.
A Tesla was involved in a triple fatal accident on the Darnytskyi Bridge in Kyiv, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the capital reported on Wednesday, UNN writes.
Details
The accident occurred today around 7 a.m.
According to preliminary information, the Tesla driver, moving towards the right bank near the exit from the Darnytskyi Bridge, collided with Suzuki and Lanos vehicles traveling in the same direction. As a result of the collision, a passenger in the Lanos, a 63-year-old woman, sustained severe injuries and died at the scene of the accident
Other participants in the traffic accident were not injured.
Investigators detained the perpetrator of the accident in accordance with Art. 208 of the Criminal Procedure Code of Ukraine. Preliminarily, the driver of the electric car was sober. Criminal proceedings have been initiated regarding this fact.
Traffic congestion
Due to the accident on the Darnytskyi Bridge, traffic is congested in the direction of the Naddniprianske Highway, the Kyiv Patrol Police reported.
