The submission of the bill on the terms of military service has been postponed due to the need to prepare reserves - Ministry of Defense
Kyiv • UNN
The Ministry of Defense has prepared a draft law on clear terms of military service, but its submission has been postponed. The reason is the lack of sufficient reserves to replace soldiers at the front.
The draft law on establishing clear terms of service for servicemen is practically ready and will be submitted to the Verkhovna Rada through the Cabinet of Ministers. This was said by the First Deputy Minister of Defense of Ukraine Ivan Havryliuk during the meeting of the Council, reports UNN.

"Our draft law is practically developed and ready to be released and submitted to the Verkhovna Rada through the Cabinet of Ministers", - said Havryliuk.
However, according to him, the submission of the bill is currently postponed due to the need to prepare reserves to replace the military currently on the front line.
"Until we prepare the reserve servicemen to replace those who are currently fighting on the line of contact, it is practically impossible to do this, because it will lead to the loss of the state", - Havryliuk summed up.
