A 28-year-old man stabbed a 15-year-old boy during an argument in the city of Samar. He was notified of suspicion of inflicting grievous bodily harm.
Law enforcement officers detained a 28-year-old man in the city of Samar in Dnipropetrovsk region who stabbed a 15-year-old boy during an argument. The incident occurred on August 6 at about 9:40 p.m., UNN reports citing the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in Dnipropetrovsk region.
Details
According to the investigation, the attacker and the victim had known each other previously. Law enforcement officers carried out initial investigative actions, inspected the scene and seized physical evidence.
The detainee was notified of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 121 (Intentional grievous bodily harm) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The issue of choosing a preventive measure—detention in custody—is currently being decided.
The article provides for punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of five to eight years.
