The SpaceX Board of Directors has approved a new compensation package for Elon Musk, tied to the achievement of ambitious goals, including the colonization of Mars and the creation of data centers in space. This was reported by Reuters, according to UNN.

According to documents filed with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, Musk could receive up to 200 million super-voting shares if the company reaches a valuation of $7.5 trillion and establishes a permanent colony on Mars with a population of at least 1 million people.
Compensation depends on space and financial goals
An additional 60.4 million shares are provided for if SpaceX can operate space data centers with a capacity of at least 100 terawatts. All payouts are conditional and will only be granted if the established benchmarks are met.
Currently, Musk receives a symbolic salary at SpaceX and will not receive any shares without meeting these goals. It is expected that the company may go public in the near future with a valuation of around $1.75 trillion.
