He commented on the use of excess profits from frozen assets of Russia. "We are talking about profit that can be used, which does not belong to anyone and therefore can also be used by the European Union," the German Chancellor said.

Speaking about the issue of weapons, he pointed out that "this is a big topic that we want to consider again today, but I think it will be considered with great consent."
