Law enforcement officers detained four pro-Russian agitators who publicly praised putin and justified the armed aggression of the russian federation. Among them is also a hacker who created fake "video addresses of the heads of the Armed Forces.
Law enforcement officers detained four pro-russian agitators and a hacker who created fake "video messages" from the heads of the Armed Forces. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Security Service of Ukraine.
Details
The perpetrators publicly praised Putin and justified russia's armed aggression. They also called for the seizure of power in our country and glorified the war crimes of the Nazis.
In particular, a local hacker was detained in Vinnytsia region who used computer programs to create a fake "video message" of a former high-ranking official of the Armed Forces and spread it on the social network TikTok
This "speech" contained provocative calls for the violent seizure of Ukrainian government institutions and mass riots on the streets of the capital.
In this way, the defendant tried to undermine the socio-political situation in Kyiv and other regions of our country.
It is noted that the criminal actions of the agitator from Vinnytsia region are additionally qualified under Article 109 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (actions aimed at violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power).
Also in the Kyiv region , a former deputy of the Fastiv City Council from the banned OPFL party was detained.
According to the investigation, he positioned himself as an "expert political scientist" and published Kremlin narratives about the aggressive war against Ukraine in his own video blog.
It was established that the former MP "backed up" his statements with quotes from Putin on russian television.
To spread hostile content, the offender used his own YouTube channel, as well as Telegram, TikTok and Instagram pages with a total audience of more than half a million users.
In Prykarpattia region , SBU cyber specialists exposed a supporter of russian State Duma deputy Leonid Slutsky, the head of the pro-Kremlin LDPR party. The suspect distributed on his Odnoklassniki page public statements of the russian official in support of the aggressive war against Ukraine
Among the published "quotes" were Slutsky's calls for a second offensive on Kherson and the seizure of the entire territory of our country.
Also in Donetsk region , SBU cyber specialists detained a resident of Kramatorsk, an ideological supporter of racism. In russian social media, the suspect justified the seizure of parts of eastern Ukraine and glorified the russian occupiers.
SBU investigators have now served the offenders notices of suspicion under Art. 2, 3 of Art. 436-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (justification, recognition of the lawfulness, denial of the armed aggression of the russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).
