Russian forces launched four strikes with guided aerial bombs on Sumy's civilian infrastructure during the night of August 6. At least two people were injured in the attack. This was reported by Oleh Hryhorov, head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, according to UNN.

According to him, the strikes hit the city's civilian infrastructure. Apartment buildings, non-residential buildings, and infrastructure facilities were damaged near the epicenters of the explosions.
Hundreds of windows were shattered in buildings as a result of the explosions.
According to preliminary data, at least two people were injured. They are receiving the necessary medical assistance.
Inspections of the damaged areas and efforts to mitigate the consequences of the attack are currently ongoing at the sites of the Russian strikes.
