In the Kharkiv region, Russian troops attacked four districts at night and in the morning, wounding 5 people, the head of the Kharkiv RMA, Oleg Sinegubov, said on Friday, UNN reports.

According to Sinegubov, the situation with enemy shelling is as follows:
- August 9, 06:20, Kharkiv district, Slobozhanske village. A 46-year-old man was wounded in the shelling.
- 02:30, Bohodukhiv district, Zolochiv village. Private and apartment buildings, gas networks were damaged as a result of shelling from multiple rocket launchers.
- 00:25, Kupyansk district, the town of Kupyansk. A 44-year-old man was wounded as a result of the shelling.
- 00:15 Izium district, Borova village. The shelling destroyed one private house, damaged 3 private houses and one two-storey apartment building.
- August 8, 23:03, Kupyansk district, the town of Kupyansk. A house was burning as a result of shelling from RSVF. A 57-year-old woman, a 45-year-old man, and a 44-year-old man were injured.
- 23:03, Kupyansk district, the town of Kupyansk. A 2-storey shop was burning as a result of the shelling.
- 23:00, Kupyansk district, Kupyansk-Vuzlovyi village. The roof of a private house was burning as a result of the shelling.
- 13:05, Izium district, Pisky-Radkivski village. As a result of the shelling, coniferous litter burned on the area of 2 hectares.
