The Russian army attacked a market in Kherson with an FPV drone in the morning, killing one person and wounding six, the Kherson Regional Prosecutor's Office reported on Friday, writes UNN.

According to the investigation, on July 17 at approximately 09:30, Russian military carried out an attack with an FPV drone on the territory of a market in Kherson.
As a result of the strike, a 70-year-old woman was killed. It is currently known that six civilians received injuries of varying severity
The victims are receiving necessary medical assistance.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the commission of a war crime resulting in the death of a person (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).

The police of Kherson region indicated that over the past day, the Russian troops shelled the right bank of the Kherson region with artillery and tactical aviation, and used various types of UAVs. In populated areas, six apartment buildings, private houses, a critical infrastructure facility, an administrative building, an industrial facility, an educational institution, two emergency medical service ambulances, six civilian cars, two buses, and a moped were affected. According to data from the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, Oleksandr Prokudin, eight people were injured due to Russian aggression.
