A striking confirmation of this trend was the case at the main film university of the Russian Federation - the All-Russian State Institute of Cinematography. The institution's Faculty of Cinematography openly promised applicants enrollment on a budget without entrance exams, but with one "small" condition — the prior signing of a contract with the Russian Ministry of Defense for a year of service in unmanned systems units.
Significantly, in this scheme, applicants are not even offered training for appearances. The system works on the principle of pure barter: first you go to war, and then, if you survive, in 2027 you will be enrolled in the first year without exams, provided with a dormitory and the status of a "veteran." In fact, higher education in Russia has become bait to attract young people to the front.
