Russian drones attacked Balakliia on April 24 - there are civilian casualties and injuries

The occupiers struck residential buildings and a lyceum in Balakliia with a Shahed UAV. Two people were killed and two utility workers were injured in the attack.
On Friday, April 24, Russian occupation forces attacked the city of Balakliia, Kharkiv Oblast. According to preliminary data, they used Geran attack UAVs (also known as Shahed - ed.), killing two people and injuring two others. This was reported by UNN with reference to the Kharkiv Oblast Prosecutor's Office.

As a result of the attack, apartment buildings, private residential buildings, cars, a lyceum, etc., were damaged. In one of the houses, a woman died due to a fire caused by a UAV strike.
A man died in a car near the impact site. Two utility workers, a man and a woman, also sustained injuries.
A pre-trial investigation has been launched into the strikes on the grounds of a war crime that caused human casualties (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). The sanction of the article provides for imprisonment from ten to fifteen years or life imprisonment.
