The Ministry of Healthcare of Ukraine has approved the first 8 members of the Council for the Restoration of the National Children's Hospital "Okhmatdyt". The selection of another 7 representatives of public associations and charitable organizations to the Council is underway.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has officially approved the first 8 members of the Council for the Restoration of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt". This was stated by the Ministry of Health, UNN reports.

These are representatives of philanthropists who have made the largest donations, international technical assistance projects, diplomatic missions of foreign countries in Ukraine, international and intergovernmental organizations and foundations, as well as one representative each from the Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the National Children's Hospital "Okhmatdyt"

Also, the selection of seven representatives of public associations, their unions, charitable organizations working in the areas of corruption prevention, patient protection, healthcare development, professional associations of healthcare workers, or in the field of architecture and urban planning, who will join the Okhmatdyt Restoration Council, is currently underway .
The selection will be made by rating voting of the already approved members of the Council based on the results of consideration of the submitted applications.
Context
The Ministry of Health announced that it is canceling tenders for engineering and consulting services and technical supervision of the repair of Okhmatdyt for UAH 14 million. This is due to a new tender for the current repairs and interior decoration of the complex.
Against the backdrop of canceled tenders, the Ministry of Health decided to create a Council to oversee the restoration of the destroyed buildings of the National Children's Specialized Hospital "Okhmatdyt".
