Details
Rabbi Tzvi Kogan, the envoy of the Chabad Center in Abu Dhabi, went missing on November 21.
As noted by The Times of Israel, Kogan is related to Rabbi Gabriel Holzberg, who was killed along with his wife during a terrorist attack on the Nariman Chabad house in Mumbai in 2008, Channel 12 News reports.
Defense Minister Israel Katz said that the murder of Rabbi Kogan in the United Arab Emirates was a “cowardly and despicable anti-Semitic terrorist crime.
“The state of Israel will not rest and will not be silent until those responsible for this criminal act pay for their actions,” the statement said.
