Pletenchuk on how Russia sells Ukrainian grain: “they sell it with forged documents as their own products”
Kyiv • UNN
Russia exports Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories through the ports of Berdiansk and Mariupol. Using forged documents, the occupiers sell it as their own products through their “official” ports.
Russia illegally exports Ukrainian grain from the occupied territories using forged documents and transports it through the ports of Berdiansk and Mariupol to its ports on the Azov Sea, where it sells it as its own products.
This was stated by Navy spokesman Dmytro Pletenchuk during a briefing, UNN reports .
We have occupied ports on the Azov Sea - Berdiansk and Mariupol, not to mention the ports of Crimea. Yes, the Russians use them first and foremost, but to raid the territory of Ukraine
According to him, for the first 2 years they exported what Ukrainians grew, and now they are exporting new crops.
“They use vessels that do not enter international ports. They use them to transship this grain from Berdiansk or Mariupol to their “official” ports on the Azov Sea, for example, Tavriya Bay, where they use forged documents and sell it as their own products,” the Navy spokesman said.
He added that civilian ships and the merchant fleet are still sailing through the Kerch Strait.
We are not Russia and we do not strike such vessels, although they are in our area of operations. Most of our grain is exported by ships with foreign flags
