147 out of 172 drones launched by Russia neutralized over Ukraine overnight

Air defense forces shot down and suppressed 147 enemy drones of various types. 22 hits have been recorded in several regions, and the enemy attack is currently ongoing.

Russia struck Ukraine with 172 drones overnight, 147 of which were shot down or suppressed, the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Thursday, writes UNN.

According to the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, on the night of April 2 (from 6:00 PM on April 1), the enemy attacked with 172 Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas, and other types of attack UAVs from the directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Oryol, Millerovo, Primorsko-Akhtarsk – Russia, temporarily occupied territories of Donetsk, Hvardiiske – temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, about 120 of them were "Shaheds."
The aerial attack was repelled by aviation, anti-aircraft missile troops, electronic warfare and unmanned systems units, and mobile fire groups of the Defense Forces of Ukraine.
According to preliminary data, as of 8:00 AM, air defense shot down/suppressed 147 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, Italmas types, and other types of drones in the north, south, and east of the country. 22 attack UAVs were recorded hitting 12 locations, as well as the fall of shot-down drones (fragments) at 8 locations.
The attack continues, with several enemy UAVs in the airspace.
