There are more than 20 vessels in the port of Chabahar due to trade flow restrictions imposed by the U.S. Previously, there were only about five ships there daily.
More than 20 vessels have accumulated in the Iranian port of Chabahar as a result of a U.S. blockade that has restricted trade flows to and from Iran. This was reported by the United States Central Command (CENTCOM), according to UNN.

The agency noted that prior to the imposition of restrictions, an average of about five vessels were in the port daily. Following the blockade, the number rose sharply, indicating significant logistical disruptions.

The blockade is part of a broader U.S. pressure campaign. On April 28, Washington imposed sanctions on 35 individuals and entities linked to Iran's "shadow banking system." Earlier, the U.S. military also intercepted the vessels M/V Sevan and M/T Tifani, which were transporting Iranian energy resources in violation of sanctions.
