The OTU "Kharkiv" reports a record number of attacks - 517 per day. Russian troops regroup in Vovchansk and receive new batches of weapons for assault operations.

The operational and tactical grouping of troops "Kharkiv" does not record the withdrawal of Russian troops or a decrease in the number of attacks after the statements of the Russian Ministry of Defense about a "breakthrough" in the direction of Suzha (Kursk region), said Vitaliy Sarantsev, spokesman for the OTG "Kharkiv", in a commentary to Suspilne Kharkiv, UNN reports.

"There were 11 combat engagements over the past day. This is a standard number. But the number of attacks increased significantly. Yesterday, there was a new "anti-record" - 517 attacks in the area of responsibility of the "Kharkiv" military operation. At first we had 350-360. Later it was 400-460. Last week it was about 500. And yesterday it was 517. This is currently an "anti-record". To say that there is any easing of the assault operations is not true either. The only thing that has decreased is the use of the air component, they have reduced the number of strikes. But this happened before the events of yesterday," said the OTG spokesman.

The Russians are using heavy artillery - they are firing at the positions from MLRS, infantry fighting vehicles, tanks, and have also increased the number of drone strikes, Sarantsev said.

"Yesterday we had 60 strikes: one Lancet and 59 FPV drones. They probably received a new batch and are trying to use them. Such a number of attacks may indicate that the enemy is now trying not to assault head-on, but to make artillery preparations in advance, en masse, in different directions. First, they inflict fire damage, and only then move to assault the positions," Sarantsev said.

In Vovchansk, as indicated, they are regrouping and have apparently also received new batches of weapons. They are rearming their units involved in assault operations in the city. They are accumulating firepower: RPG-18, RPG-22, and Jmil rocket launchers. They are conducting internal rotations, but these are mostly the same units as before.
