Mykolaiv region under fire: attacks with drones and missiles

Mykolaiv region experienced a series of hostile attacks on August 1. The attacks included mortar strikes, drone attacks, and a rocket attack, damaging infrastructure but causing no casualties.
Over the past day, as of 07:00 am, Mykolaiv region suffered several hostile attacks. According to the district military administrations and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv region, the shelling continued throughout the day on August 1. This was reported by the head of the Mykolaiv RMA Vitaliy Kim, according to UNN.

Mykolaiv district:
Ochakiv community: On August 1, at 13:17, the enemy fired mortar shells at the community's water area. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Kutsurub community: Between 14:29 and 21:30, the enemy attacked the community with attack drones, including FPV. One of the attacks in the village of Parutino damaged a non-operational kindergarten. Another attack in Dniprovske village caused a fire in an outbuilding and dry grass, which was quickly extinguished by firefighters. There were no casualties.
Rocket attack: In the evening, around 20:35, the area came under a rocket attack. The shelling caused a fire of dry grass on the territory of an infrastructure facility. The fire was quickly extinguished. There were no casualties.
All the attacks were promptly responded to by local rescuers, which helped to avoid human casualties and minimize damage to infrastructure.
