The next stage of the most prestigious commercial series of track and field competitions, the Diamond League, took place at the Olympic Stadium in London. A silver award in the high jump sector was won by Olympic champion and world record holder Yaroslava Mahuchikh, who cleared the bar at 2.01 m. This is Yaroslava's best outdoor result of the current season

The main battle for victory unfolded between the Ukrainian and Australian Nicola Olyslagers. Both athletes cleared the height of 2.01 m on their third attempt, but based on the number of attempts at the previous bar (1.99 m), first place went to the representative of Australia. The top three was closed by another Australian, Eleanor Patterson (1.96 m).
