Lukashenko claims that the Western-backed opposition is seeking to seize part of Belarus in order to invite foreign troops and provoke an armed confrontation.

Belarusian dictator Alyaksandr Lukashenka said that the opposition, with the support of the West, is allegedly seeking to seize part of the country's territory in order to invite foreign troops there. He also noted that Minsk is currently facing an information war, primarily through the media, UNN reports , citing Roszmі.

"There is an information war and an economic war going on.  We are doing everything to protect the country from a hot war. So far, we have succeeded. I think we will be able to solve this problem - to prevent a clash, as it has always been in the territory of Belarus," Lukashenko said.

According to the dictator, some of the initiators of these processes are Belarusian oppositionists who have moved to the West and are now seeking support from the US or the EU.

"They run around to various decision-making centers and advisors from America to Brussels, asking for money for media. The curators say they've already had media, they need something hotter. Something like Moscow's Crocus City, God forbid, terrorist attacks and armed confrontation in Belarus. The goal  is to enter Belarus and seize at least a piece of land, declare their power and invite foreign troops here. We see it, we understand it," said the Belarusian dictator.
