Lubinets on the draft law on strengthening mobilization: the committee took into account the principal remarks
Kyiv • UNN
Verkhovna Rada Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets said that the draft law on strengthening mobilization, which was adopted after taking into account his principled comments, is the best option to increase the number of citizens in the Armed Forces of Ukraine during heavy fighting at the front.
The fundamental comments sent to the relevant committee by the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner Dmytro Lubinets were taken into account in the draft law on strengthening mobilization before the second reading. In his opinion, the adopted draft law is the best option. Lubinets stated this during the event "Civilians in illegal detention by Russia: joint steps of the authorities and civil society for their release", reports UNN correspondent .

The principal comments that I sent as the Verkhovna Rada Commissioner to the relevant committee were almost all taken into account. We raised the issue of protecting people with disabilities separately. The second is not to add additional powers to TCC representatives. This has all been done. Third, as for the electronic cabinet, it was left as a right, not an obligation. I also emphasized this position. The next issue is the presentation of documents. Ukrainian citizens must present their documents to the National Police, the State Border Guard Service, or representatives of the National Guard, not to representatives of the TCC. This was not explicitly stated, but the following powers were not given to TCC representatives
He noted that the draft law on strengthening mobilization is "the best option we could have hoped for.
We understand that there are no limits to perfection. We must all understand that we are currently experiencing extremely difficult battles on the front line, and that the military units that are there must be able to rotate. To do this, we need to increase the number of Ukrainian citizens who are in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. But, in my opinion, the procedure now looks as democratic as possible, with virtually no pressure. All persons liable for military service must undergo a procedure to verify their data in the register. Those who do not comply with the law will be subject to democratic principles in our country
