Lubinets: “If my demands are not fulfilled, I will demand to enter information into the URPTI”

Dmytro Lubinets said he was ready to submit information to the URPTI about officials who do not fulfill his demands. The Ombudsman sent submissions to the Lviv and Ternopil RMAs regarding violations in children's institutions.
The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights, Dmytro Lubinets, said that in case of failure to fulfil his requirements after inspections of institutions where violations were found, or obstruction of the Ombudsman's activities, he would demand that information be entered into the Unified Register of Pre-trial Investigations of Officials. He said this during a press conference, an UNN correspondent reports.
Regarding the legal component, we have a practice that after the end of our monitoring, we will call representatives of the National Police to the site to enter information on each case
He emphasized that failure to comply with the legal requirements of the Ombudsman or his representatives is considered an administrative violation and entails fines for officials.
In addition, interference in the activities of a public figure who is the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights and his representative is subject to criminal liability under Article 344 of the Criminal Code
According to Lubinets, he has sent submissions to the Lviv and Ternopil RMAs.
I am waiting for the results of fulfillment of my legitimate demands. If I see failure to fulfill my demands, or even worse, obstruction of my activities, in the actions of the relevant managers in the relevant local governments and military administrations, I will demand to enter information into the URPTI
