Law enforcers uncover international drug syndicate with annual profit of UAH 135 million

Law enforcement officers exposed a drug syndicate consisting of 44 people, seizing drugs worth over UAH 5 million. The group received an annual profit of UAH 135 million.
As a result of 58 searches, a group of 44 members was found to be selling drugs with a profit of 135 million hryvnias a year. UNN reports this with reference to the Telegram channel of the Cyber Police Department.
Details
The group operated in Kyiv, Mykolaiv and Dnipro regions. The criminals sold cocaine, ecstasy, cannabis, MDMA, hashish, ketamine, and amphetamine.
They reportedly established a channel for the supply of drugs and psychotropics from EU countries to Ukraine. They sold their products in bulk to a trusted circle of people. Customers paid for the "goods" in cryptocurrency.
Yesterday, December 19, law enforcement officers conducted 58 simultaneous authorized searches.
More than 400 law enforcement officers were involved in the special operation to solve drug crimes.
As a result of the investigation, the following was seized: 330 grams of cocaine, 564 grams of amphetamine, 200 grams of A-PVP salts, 1236 ecstasy pills, 100 stamps of LSD, etc.
The estimated value of the seized illegal substances at black market prices is over UAH 5 million.

In Kyiv, pharmacists of three pharmacies illegally sold drug-containing medicines. During the searches, law enforcement officers seized more than six thousand restricted pills.
