As noted, one of the units of the Khmelnytsky NPP was repaired and returned to operation two weeks ahead of schedule.

According to Energoatom CEO Petro Kotin, it was "extremely important to return the unit to operation, given the constant attacks by the racists on the Ukrainian power system."

Earlier, UNN reported that the Khmelnytsky NPP power unit was put back online after repairs.

According to Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko, construction of four more units at Khmelnytsky NPP, two of which will be based on modern American AP1000 technology, will begin in 2024. As a result, Khmelnytsky NPP will become more powerful than Zaporizhzhya NPP.
