Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that there is no need to exaggerate the importance of a possible visit by American negotiators to Kyiv, as it is not Ukraine that needs it, but rather the representatives of the United States. Zelenskyy made this statement in an interview during a telethon, as reported by UNN.
We should not make a special sensation out of the arrival of Jared (Kushner - ed.) and Witkoff, because, firstly, we are in contact with them. Secondly, I believe that their visit is not needed by us, but by them. Why? Because it is disrespectful to go to Moscow and not come to Kyiv.
The President understands that a visit to Ukraine involves more complex logistics, but Ukraine is not talking about the location, but about the result.
They are in contact by phone, and by phone they express a desire to continue communication and negotiations. The issue is that the Russians do not want to end in the format in which it is most likely possible to end today - which is, we stand where we stand. This is the fastest format to end, as the Americans say, the killings.
