Special forces “eliminated terrorists” in penal colony #19 in the Volgograd region of Russia. All hostages were rescued, the operation lasted 30 minutes.
The storming of a penal colony in Russia, where unknown persons took hostages, has ended. According to the Telegram channel Mash, "the terrorists were eliminated," UNN reports.
"The assault is over - it lasted half an hour... the terrorists in CF-19 have been eliminated. All hostages were rescued. The operation began at 16:00 and ended at 16:30," the statement said.
According to the Telegram channel, during the assault, 23-year-old Tajik-born Rustamchon Navruzi tried to blow himself up with a suicide vest. But the system did not work. Special forces eliminated him.
