Iraq has closed its airspace after dozens of Iranian drones crossed its border toward Israel, forcing Israel to put its air defense on high alert.
The Iraqi Ministry of Transport has announced the closure of the country's airspace, the Iraqi News Agency reports UNN. Air traffic has been suspended.

According to Reuters sources, dozens of Iranian drones flying toward Israel are crossing Iraqi airspace. According to the Fars news agency, Iranian UAVs have approached the border of Syria and Jordan.
