Iran issues ultimatum to US and Israel to maintain truce
Kyiv • UNN
The Speaker of the Iranian Parliament named the cessation of the naval blockade and "recognition of the rights of the people" as a condition for peace. The Strait of Hormuz will remain closed until the demands are met.

Iran named the conditions under which a truce with the US and Israel "would make sense." This was written on the social network "X" by the speaker of the Parliament of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, as reported by UNN.
Details
A complete ceasefire only makes sense when it is not violated by a naval blockade and the seizure of the world's economy, and when the incitement to war by the Zionists (Israel - ed.) on all fronts is stopped; unblocking the Strait of Hormuz in obvious violation of the ceasefire is impossible. They have not achieved their goals through military aggression, and they will not achieve them through intimidation. The only way is to recognize the rights of the Iranian people
Additionally
On April 23, media reported that shipping through the Strait of Hormuz had effectively stopped after Iranian forces fired on commercial vessels and claimed to have seized at least two of them.
Recall
US President Donald Trump extended the temporary ceasefire with Iran until April 26 of this year.
