Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about the successful testing of the integrated use of ground and airborne robotic and unmanned systems in real combat, emphasizing the priority of introducing innovative combat unmanned and robotic platforms in the troops as soon as possible.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi spoke about testing various forms of integrated use of ground and air robotic and unmanned systems in real combat, UNN reports.
"The other day I worked at one of the training centers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where various forms of integrated use of ground and air robotic and unmanned systems in real combat are being tested (pilot tests). This is a very important project and we have the first successes in its implementation
One of the features of modern warfare is the active use of robotic and unmanned systems in the combat order of a combined arms unit with a single purpose to ensure the withdrawal of personnel from the most dangerous areas and their replacement by robots," noted Syrsky.
The Commander-in-Chief also emphasized that his highest priority is the rapid practical introduction of innovative unmanned and robotic ground- and airborne combat platforms into the army.

"Together with the team of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, we are making every effort to prepare system solutions for the effective use of a wide range of robotic platforms.
Our goal is to shorten the path of a technical invention (innovative idea) from the laboratory to the production shop and then to the combat unit as much as possible.
I am grateful to everyone, from development engineers, manufacturers to pilot operators, for their contribution to the combat effectiveness of our units," added Syrskyi.
He also announced the next step - practicing the tactics of using combat ground robotic systems, preparing calculations and scaling up the NRC units in combat units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, practicing the techniques and methods of unmanned systems in various types of combat.
