An internal investigation is being conducted at the Khust RTCR after a man reportedly attempted suicide after being detained for attempting to illegally cross the border.
The Khust Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support is conducting an internal investigation into a report of a man's alleged suicide attempt in the department's premises. The commentary of the press service of the Zakarpattia Regional Territorial Center of Recruitment and Social Support was disseminated on Saturday by Suspilne, UNN reports.

According to the agency, on March 13, the man was detained by border guards while trying to illegally cross the border. Subsequently, representatives of the State Border Guard Service took him to the district military registration and enlistment center to clarify his military registration data.
"While on the territory of the RTCR, the citizen went to the restroom, where a representative of the Khust RTCR found him after a while. The man was sitting on the floor with traces of blood and cuts on his hands. The servicemen of the RTCR provided emergency first aid and called the police and an ambulance, which took the man to the Khust City Hospital," the press service said.
Doctors recorded a suicide attempt. An internal investigation is currently underway, the agency added.
