An unknown individual fired several shots at a Vinnytsia resident, presumably with an air gun. Police have launched an investigation into the hooliganism.
In Vinnytsia, a 54-year-old man was wounded in a shooting, which, according to preliminary data, was opened by an unknown person. The police are investigating hooliganism and establishing all the circumstances of the incident. This was reported by the Vinnytsia police, writes UNN.
A report that shots were heard on one of the city's streets was received on April 19 at about 10:30 p.m. Investigative actions are currently underway. Information is being updated.
According to preliminary information, an unknown person fired several shots at a 54-year-old Vinnytsia resident, as a result of which the latter was injured. After receiving medical assistance, the victim left the medical facility.
An investigative and operational group of the Vinnytsia District Police Department worked at the scene. Law enforcement officers seized several items similar to bullets from an air pistol.
A criminal proceeding is being investigated under Part 4 of Article 296 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (hooliganism). The sanction of the article provides for up to 7 years of imprisonment.
