The Ministry of Health explained the mechanism of automated distribution for internships: an algorithm of actions for graduates The Ministry of Health of Ukraine has developed an algorithm for graduates of medical universities who will be distributed to internships in an automated manner. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Health. As noted, this year the distribution to internships will take place using an automated system for the first time. "The automated distribution will be based on the results of the KROK-2 exam, the applicant's average grade, and their priority application," the Ministry of Health explained. The Ministry of Health emphasized that this approach will help minimize corruption risks and ensure that the most deserving graduates have the opportunity to pursue their careers in the specialty they desire. **Algorithm of actions for graduates:** * Register in the system through the website [https://intern.testcentr.org.ua/](https://intern.testcentr.org.ua/). * Update your personal data. * From June 24 to July 7, submit priority applications. * From August 1 to August 31, confirm the place of internship. Detailed instructions for using the system can be found at the link: [https://intern.testcentr.org.ua/instructions](https://intern.testcentr.org.ua/instructions). This year, the distribution of medical students to internships is taking place for the first time in an electronic system on a rating basis. This is reported by UNN with reference to the Ministry of Health.
Details
The implemented electronic distribution automates the process of distributing masters in medical specialties to internships and makes it transparent.
The system automates the following processes:
- collection of data on the academic performance of graduates of higher education institutions;
- calculation of the competitive score and ranking of graduates;
- rating distribution to internships;
- collection and storage of data on interns undergoing training in internships, as well as the formation of electronic documents regarding its completion;
- electronic support of the entire training process in internships.
The system is integrated with a single portal of vacancies in healthcare facilities, so interns will undergo the practical part of their training in their chosen specialty in positions that medical facilities really need.
Main stages of distribution and algorithm of actions for graduates:
- Until June 10, graduates can refuse to participate in the distribution and independently choose a place to complete their internship. Refusal to participate must be reported in writing.
- June 12-22, future doctors must register for distribution in the electronic system.
- June 24 - July 1, graduates submit applications for participation in the distribution. The rating distribution will take place on July 3.
- On July 4, the system informs graduates who have been allocated according to their applications about the results of the distribution and generates a referral to the internship.
- Until July 7, graduates who have not been allocated according to their applications receive offers from the system. The system generates an offer that is as close as possible to the previously submitted applications.
- Until July 11, graduates accept or reject the received offers.
- Until July 14, graduates who have rejected the offer cease to participate in the distribution and can undergo a re-distribution next year.
- Until July 20, graduates who have received a referral submit documents to the healthcare facility for enrollment in the internship. Medical facilities enter orders for enrollment in the system until August 1.
- From August 1, graduates who have been enrolled in the internship begin their internship.
- Until August 20, graduates who have received a referral to the internship submit documents to the higher education institution for enrollment in the educational part of the internship. Orders will be entered into the system by August 30.
- From September 1, graduates enrolled in the educational part of the internship begin their internship.
In 2025, the distribution to internships will take place among graduates of higher medical education institutions (all state-funded students, as well as those wishing to study under contract) in the specialties "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Medical Psychology" and "Dentistry". For the first time, a medical graduate will be able to choose the desired place in the specialty from all the places provided for state distribution within the entire country.
Let us remind you
Earlier, the Ministry of Health of Ukraine explained how graduates of higher medical education institutions will be enrolled in internships.
