Details
On June 5, at approximately 10:55 p.m., police received a report of a fight near a building on Luhovska Street in the Amur-Nyzhniodniprovskyi district of Dnipro.
Patrol police units immediately arrived at the scene.
During the arrest, one of the participants in the conflict threw a grenade toward a law enforcement officer. As a result of the explosion, the perpetrator died on the spot. Four law enforcement officers sustained bodily injuries of varying degrees of severity,
The wounded police officers have been hospitalized to a medical facility to receive the necessary assistance.
Law enforcement officers are establishing all the circumstances of the incident and gathering evidence.
Criminal proceedings have been initiated under Art. 348 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (encroachment on the life of a law enforcement officer).
