According to forecasters, the heat wave in Kyiv will last until July 17, with temperatures reaching 35-38°C.
Forecasters predict that the heat wave in Kyiv will last until July 17. It is expected that by July 14, in most areas, the air temperature will reach 35-38°C. This was reported by KCSA, UNN writes.
Forecasters predict that very hot days in Kyiv may last until July 17. Thus, by July 14, the maximum temperature in most regions will be 35-38°, and the heat wave is expected to peak on July 14-17
In this heat, KCSA recommends:
- avoid staying outside for long periods of time;
- give preference to clothes made of natural light and light fabrics;
- cover the body to protect the skin from sunburn, apply sunscreen;
- wear a hat and sunglasses;
- drink plenty of water, soft drinks, and avoid alcohol;
- give preference to vegetables, fruits, and herbs and eat less fatty foods, fried and smoked foods;
- often do water procedures and take a shower at room temperature;
- intense physical activity and training are not advisable during the hot season.
