Ukraine's Magura naval drones have proven effective in forcing the Russian fleet to retreat to remote bases, and further improvements are underway to counter any defenses Russia develops.

Magura maritime drones will be improved, the movement forward is underway, and Ukraine will find ways to respond to any defense that the enemy wants to invent for its fleet. This was stated by a representative of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine Yevhen Yerin during a telethon on Saturday, UNN correspondent reports.

"Magura drones can be said to be the first drone to hit a combat fleet, a warship, and continue to do so. Thanks to these maritime drones, we managed to drive the Russian fleet to distant bases, such as the one in Novorossiysk. Now we can carry out certain activities in the Black Sea," Yerin said.

According to him, Magura drones have ensured the safety of navigation in certain waters that help Ukraine develop not only in the military but also in the economic sphere.

Therefore, the effectiveness of these drones has already been proven. These drones will definitely be improved, and we have already seen some of these developments. I can say that we are moving forward, and we will find solutions to any defense that the enemy wants to come up with

A representative of the Defense Ministry's Main Intelligence Directorate, Andrey Yusov , reportedthat the Russians are really working, trying to save the rest of the Russian fleet with barriers and aviation, in a variety of ways, but we are seeing new and more effective operations. Magura maritime drones are extremely effective in various aspects, the representative of the DIU pointed out.

The commander of the Ukrainian Defence Intelligence's special unit "Group 13" with the call sign "Thirteenth" reportedthat one of the new modifications of the Magura unmanned offshore platform already has R-73 missiles on board.
