The Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine published information on almost 200 new parts and components used in six types of Russian weapons. Among the main conclusions is that the protection against electronic warfare of Russian "Shaheds" has almost become independent of American components.

Among the studied components are, in particular, the CRP antenna of the Russian "Shahed", the North Korean ballistic missile KN-24, the computer from the Kh-47 "Dagger" missile, as well as the "Supercam S350", "Herbera" and Zala drones.

In particular, in the new CRP antennas for the "Geran-2" drone, only two chips of American production were found, from Texas Instruments and Linear Technologies. This indicates Russia's attempt to reduce its dependence on components from countries that have imposed sanctions against it.

Most of the other parts are of Chinese manufacture. These are transceivers, generators, signal converters and other microcircuits. For example, the main chip of the CRP antenna, which analyzes incoming signals and decides which ones to ignore, is manufactured by Beijing Microelectronics Technology Institute (BMTI).

For the first time, a component of Indian production was found in Russian weapons - a clock buffer from Aura Semiconductor.

The manufacturers of two more components have not yet been identified, but they are likely to be of Chinese origin, the HUR noted.
