Russia has increased its unmanned reconnaissance activity in the south to 147 units per day in an attempt to compensate for the absence of A-50 aircraft, said Natalia Gumenyuk, head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Southern Ukrainian Defense Forces.

There is an increased activity of enemy unmanned reconnaissance. In general, the activity of unmanned reconnaissance, particularly in the south, reached 147 units per day. The occupiers are thus trying to compensate for the absence of the A-50 aircraft in the air.

This was stated by the head of the Joint Coordination Press Center of the Defense Forces of Southern Ukraine Natalia Gumenyuk during a telethon, reports UNN correspondent .

This time, the South was in combat operations, but it was more about tracking the direction of the missiles. You could see from the monitoring chats that the trajectory of the missiles was complicated, they were making maneuvers, trying to bypass air defense systems, so they were actually working all over the country

- said Humeniuk.

In addition, according to her, there is an increased activity of unmanned enemy intelligence.

Yesterday, at the end of daylight hours in the Black Sea, the Air Defense Forces destroyed two enemy SuperCams that were entering from the water closer to the coast in an attempt to gather as much information as possible. In general, the activity of unmanned reconnaissance, in particular in our area of responsibility, reached 147 units per day, which is a very high figure. This is how they try to compensate for the absence of A-50s in the air

- Humeniuk said.

Earlier, Humeniuk reported that the Russian occupiers are intensifying their unmanned reconnaissance activities, but they realize that this is not an absolute replacement for the downed Russian long-range radar detection aircraft A-50U. https://unn.ua/news/drony-ne-mozhut-povnotsinno-zaminyty-a-50-tomu-rf-hotuie-nastupnyi-humeniuk
