On Friday, August 9, Russia deployed military reserves to the Kursk region to counter the alleged Ukrainian troops in the Suzhansky district. This was stated by the Russian media with reference to the Russian Defense Ministry, UNN reports.

It is noted that several columns of Russian military are heading to the Kursk region. Thus, BM-21 Grad multiple rocket launchers, towed artillery pieces, tanks transported on trawls, heavy tracked vehicles, Ural and KamAZ vehicles are being transferred to the region
It should be noted that Ukraine has not officially commented on the events in the Kursk region of the Russian Federation.
