The Ukrainian Defense Forces struck at the Yartsevskaya oil depot in the Smolensk region of Russia. Powerful explosions and a fire of oil tanks were recorded at the facility, which supplied the Russian army.
The Ukrainian Defense Forces hit another oil depot of the Russian occupiers - in the Smolensk region of the Russian Federation, tanks with oil products caught fire. This was reported by the General Staff, UNN reports.
"Last night, units of the Special Operations Forces, in cooperation with the Unmanned Systems Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and other components of the Defense Forces, struck at the Yartsevskaya oil depot in the Smolensk region of Russia," the statement said.
According to the General Staff, powerful explosions and a fire were recorded at the facility, and there is heavy smoke.
"According to available information, tanks with oil products caught fire. It is known that the base was used, among other things, to supply the Russian occupation army. Additional information on the results of combat operations is being clarified," the statement said.
In addition, the General Staff added that the destruction of important enemy targets will continue until the Russian Federation stops its armed aggression against Ukraine.
