Gauleiter of Kherson region received a new suspicion - in the theft of Ukrainian grain

After the 15-year sentence for Saldo, there is a new suspicion - the theft of almost 3,000 tons of Ukrainian grain. According to the investigation, he ordered the grain to be transported from the occupied Kherson to the territories under the control of the Russian Federation.
The so-called "governor" of the Kherson region has been informed of another suspicion - the theft of almost 3 thousand tons of Ukrainian grain, the Office of the Prosecutor General reported, writes UNN.
The former deputy of the Kherson City Council has been notified in absentia of suspicion of giving an order to commit violations of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)
The Gauleiter of the Kherson region, Volodymyr Saldo, already has a suspended sentence of 15 years in prison in another case.
In the new case, according to the investigation, after becoming the so-called "governor" of the Kherson region in 2022, as the head of the higher rank in the occupied territory, he exerted pressure on representatives of local businesses and facilitated the seizure and looting of enterprises.
"In the autumn of 2022, he ordered the creation of a temporary administration at the seized PJSC "Kherson Grain Processing Plant", - the prosecutor's office said.
In his warehouses, as reported, there were more than 30 thousand tons of grain and industrial crops belonging to various business entities.
The "governor" gave the order to export grain from Kherson. As a result, the enemy managed to export by three barges from the occupied regional center to the territories controlled by the Russian Federation the 2021 barley harvest, weighing more than 2.8 thousand tons and worth almost 15 million hryvnias," the prosecutor's office reported.
