The Pokrovska community in Donetsk Oblast has announced a forced evacuation of families with children. It is planned to evacuate almost 4 thousand children from 14 settlements of the community. This was announced by the head of the RMA Vadim Filashkin, reports UNN.
“We are starting the forced evacuation of families with children from the Pokrovska community,” Filashkin wrote on Telegram.
According to him, more than 53 thousand people live in the Pokrovske community, including almost 4 thousand children. Filashkin emphasized that the frontline has recently come too close to Pokrovske and that this should be responded to appropriately.
A decision was made to compulsorily evacuate children with their parents or persons in loco parentis or other legal representatives from the cities of Pokrovsk and Rodynske, the villages of Hnativka, Dachanske, Zhovte, Zelene, Lysivka, Novopavlivka, Novoukrainka, Pushkino, Rih, Sukhyi Yar, Troianda and Chunyshyno.
Earlier, the head of the Pokrovsk MVA, Serhiy Dobryak, stated that given the timing of the Russian army's advance in Donetsk, residents of Pokrovsk have a maximum of two weeks to evacuate.
