In 2025, the Ombudsman's Office received 6,127 complaints regarding mobilization violations. In 2022, there were 18 such complaints. This was reported by Ombudsman Dmytro Lubinets, writes UNN.

Details

The most common complaints concern the exceeding of powers by employees of the Territorial Recruitment Centers (TCC) and Social Support Centers (SP).

These include unjustified detention, beatings, deprivation of legal assistance, formal medical examinations by the Military Medical Commission (VLC), and others.

A critical necessity is to harmonize the grounds for deferment from conscription and for discharge from military service. In particular, for those who were illegally mobilized

Regarding the violation of veterans' rights, the ombudsman noted that they mainly concerned monetary provision and illegal restriction of pensions, delays in establishing disability, non-fulfillment of housing provision norms, etc.
