First in Ukraine: Lviv region cleansed of religious communities of the Moscow Patriarchate

All religious communities of the Moscow Patriarchate in the Lviv region have ceased their activities. 27 communities joined the OCU, and another 27 closed on their own.
Lviv region has been cleansed of religious communities that are subordinate to the Moscow Patriarchate. This was announced by the chairman of the Lviv RMA Maxim Kozitsky, reports UNN.
Today is a historic day for Lviv region - the region has been cleansed of religious communities that are subordinate to the Moscow Patriarchate. Lviv region became the first in Ukraine where there is no longer a single registered religious community ROCiU (Russian Orthodox Church in Ukraine)!
According to him, before the beginning of Russia's aggression against Ukraine in 2014, there were 66 religious communities of the Moscow Patriarchate in our region. As of February 24, 2022, there were 54 of these communities. during the full-scale invasion, 27 communities joined the Orthodox Church of Ukraine, and another 27 stopped their activities on their own instructions.
In addition, the head of the Lviv RMA expressed hope that the religious communities of the Moscow Patriarchate in other regions "will not wait for the implementation of the provisions of the law of Ukraine "on the protection of the constitutional order in the sphere of activities of religious organizations", and finally break ties with the structure of bloody Moscow priests.
