Igor Sulyma, the sole lawyer of the suspect in the murder of Irina Farion, appealed against the court's decision to hold him without bail. He asked the court for a more lenient measure of restraint - round-the-clock house arrest.
The lawyer of the suspect in the murder of Irina Farion, Igor Sulima, filed an appeal against the court's decision on a preventive measure. The lawyer reported this to Suspilne, reports UNN.

It is noted that man filed an appeal against the court's decision to impose a preventive measure in the form of detention without bail.
In addition, Sulima denied the information posted on social media that other lawyers were involved in the case.
I must deny this and inform you that I am the only lawyer for the suspect. I was contracted, there are no other defense lawyers in the case

During the hearing, the lawyer asked the court for a more lenient measure of restraint, namely, round-the-clock house arrest with the wearing of electronic protection.
He argued that "not a single examination has been conducted yet that would identify my client with the person seen by the whole country in the photographs".

On July 19, an unknown person shot at Iryna Farion, a linguist and professor at Lviv Polytechnic. The woman was taken to the hospital with a head wound in an extremely serious condition. In the hospital Iryna Farion died.
Subsequently, on July 25, an 18-year-old manwas detained in Dnipro who was allegedly involved in the murder of the linguist. The next day, law enforcement officers served 18-year-old Vyacheslav Zinchenko with a notice of suspicion [8] of murdering Irina Farion.
The court also sent the guy to custody for 2 months without the possibility of bail.
