Ukraine does not recognize the Russian presidential elections in the occupied territories and calls for criminal prosecution of those who facilitated them, as well as sanctions against foreign observers and questioning of Putin's legitimacy in the international arena.

Persons who helped organize elections in the occupied territories should be involved in relevant criminal proceedings at least at the national level and be included in sanctions lists. Ukraine should raise the question of the legitimacy of Russian dictator Putin's representatives in the international arena. This was stated by Kateryna Rashevska, a member of the Interdepartmental Commission on the Application and Implementation of International Humanitarian Law in Ukraine and the Expert Council at the Mission of the President of Ukraine in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, during the round table "Pseudo-elections in the occupied territory at gunpoint: what's next?", UNN correspondent reports.

"All those who call themselves observers from foreign countries should be included in the sanctions lists. All those who contributed to the organization of elections in the occupied territories must be involved in relevant criminal proceedings at least at the national level and be included in the sanctions lists. We have to raise the question of the competence and legitimacy of Putin's representatives in the international arena, and Vladimir Putin himself should continue to remain in Russia," Rashevska said.

She noted that after the arrest warrant  , Putin is already not traveling enough, but now he must remain in Russia as if in prison until the end of his next presidential term.
