Ex-head of Rivne TCC taken into custody again

The former head of the Rivne TCC was taken into custody on suspicion of obstructing the activities of the Armed Forces. He is also a defendant in cases of violence, robbery and illegal enrichment of UAH 46 million.

A preventive measure was imposed on the former head of the Rivne Regional Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support. The former official  was taken into custody without the alternative of bail. This was reported by the Prosecutor General's Office on Tuesday, UNN reports.

At the request of the prosecutors of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Western Region, the former head of the Rivne Territorial Center for Recruitment and Social Support, who is suspected of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was taken into custody (Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine)

The former head of the TCC was chosen a measure of restraint in the form of detention without the alternative of bail. Following the court hearing, the Rivne City Court fully granted the prosecutors' motion.

The pre-trial investigation is being carried out by investigators of the State Bureau of Investigations located in Khmelnytskyi.

The former official was also detained on Saturday, August 3. He is suspected of obstructing the lawful activities of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (Article 114-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). In particular, it is a deliberate assistance to citizens in evading mobilization and military service under martial law."

Ex-Voyenko is a defendant in two more criminal proceedings - on the facts of violence against a subordinate and robbery, as well as illegal enrichment of more than UAH 46 million (Art. 27, parts 2, 3, Art. 27, Art. 28, part 2, Art. 426-1, part 5, Art. 186, Art. 368-5 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine). These cases are already pending in court.
